Jakarta, 9 Oktober 2025 — Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Provinsi DKI Jakarta melalui Bidang Kesehatan dan Lingkungan tengah mempersiapkan pelaksanaan Seminar Pencegahan Stunting bagi Calon Pengantin Se-DKI Jakarta yang akan digelar pada Sabtu, 11 Oktober 2025, di The Tavia Heritage Hotel, Jakarta.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya berkelanjutan MUI DKI Jakarta dalam mendukung program nasional percepatan penurunan stunting melalui edukasi kesehatan dan gizi sejak masa pra-nikah.
Ketua Bidang Kesehatan dan Lingkungan MUI DKI Jakarta, Dr. KH. Khalilurrahman, M.A., menyampaikan bahwa seminar ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran para calon pengantin mengenai pentingnya persiapan fisik dan gizi sebelum memasuki kehidupan rumah tangga.
“Pencegahan stunting harus dimulai sejak sebelum pernikahan. Calon pengantin adalah calon orang tua. Kesiapan fisik, mental, dan pengetahuan gizi sangat menentukan kualitas generasi yang akan lahir,” ujar Dr. KH. Khalilurrahman, Rabu (8/10).
Menurutnya, edukasi pra-nikah tidak hanya mencakup aspek spiritual dan sosial, tetapi juga perlu memperkuat pemahaman tentang kesehatan reproduksi dan gizi seimbang sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab moral dalam membangun keluarga sakinah dan sehat.
Sinergi dengan Pemerintah dan Praktisi Kesehatan
Seminar yang bertajuk “Pencegahan Stunting bagi Calon Pengantin Se-DKI Jakarta” ini akan menghadirkan narasumber dari Dinas Kesehatan DKI Jakarta dan praktisi herbal, yang membahas langkah-langkah pencegahan stunting dari sudut pandang medis dan pemanfaatan bahan alami.
Kegiatan ini juga menjadi ajang sinergi antara MUI DKI Jakarta dan Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta dalam menurunkan angka stunting yang masih berada di angka 17,2% berdasarkan hasil Survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) 2024.
Dr. KH. Khalilurrahman menambahkan, upaya pencegahan stunting sejalan dengan nilai-nilai maqashid syariah, yakni menjaga keturunan (hifz an-nasl) dan menjaga jiwa (hifz an-nafs).
“Stunting bukan hanya persoalan kesehatan, tapi juga amanah keagamaan. Anak yang sehat dan cerdas adalah tanggung jawab orang tua yang harus dipersiapkan sejak dini,” tegasnya.
Harapan: Edukasi dan Kolaborasi Berkelanjutan
Melalui kegiatan pra-nikah ini, MUI DKI Jakarta berharap dapat membangun kesadaran kolektif di kalangan calon pengantin, lembaga keagamaan, dan tenaga kesehatan untuk bersama-sama menekan angka stunting. Kolaborasi lintas sektor diharapkan memperluas jangkauan edukasi dan informasi gizi seimbang di masyarakat.
Dengan dukungan berbagai pihak, DKI Jakarta diharapkan menjadi wilayah yang tidak hanya maju secara infrastruktur, tetapi juga unggul dalam melahirkan generasi sehat, berakhlak, dan berkualitas.
